Hayo CEO Statement 2026: Driving Momentum, Scaling Growth & Supporting Digital Ecosystems

Looking back at the last 12 months, 2025 was a huge year for Hayo, and 2026 is set to be even bigger. We’ve built deep, strategic foundations to evolve our business at the speed of the market, and as a result, we’ve experienced substantial growth.

We’ve continued to embrace technology and innovation, helping customers to move beyond legacy models and prepare for the demands of tomorrow. Hayo is a trusted partner for the entire digital ecosystem, working with not only mobile operators, but also governments, regulators, enterprises and other authorities.

Together, we are creating a stronger and safer digital environment for all, while unlocking new opportunities for stakeholders.

2025 Highlights

We had a very busy year strengthening industry relationships, launching fresh solutions in response to market demands, and hiring exceptional talent to support our evolving business requirements. The progress we made reflects our strategic execution and a clear, shared vision for Hayo’s next phase of growth.

Here are some of our key milestones:

  • Talk360 Partnership – We became Talk360’s exclusive provider for high-performance and cost-efficient voice services in local African markets, connecting millions of users across the African diaspora. The partnership makes calling more affordable for customers by creating calling corridors with reduced rates due to high traffic volumes.

  • GLF Membership – Hayo joined the GLF Community to support and strengthen global digital infrastructure with sustainable development and innovation. Together with more than 120 members, we form a representative voice for the broader digital ecosystem to benefit businesses and communities across the globe.

  • Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) Licences – Hayo was granted the Content Service Provider (CSP) and Applications Service Provider (ASP) licences by the CA. As a result, we’ve been able to deliver digital solutions and communications services in Kenya, enabling local businesses and government authorities to benefit from world-leading technologies and on-the-ground support.

  •  NMR Platform Launch – We launched our National Mobile Registry (NMR) platform to help governments in emerging markets to regulate imports and ensure a controlled entry process for mobile devices. The solution identifies and addresses illegal imports, facilitating tax enforcement and boosting tax revenue. This helps governments to bring their national mobile ecosystems under control and implement systems that enhance compliance, protect citizens, and unlock sustainable public revenue.

  • Botswana, Liberia & Malawi Expansion – Hayo’s African footprint grew to become even stronger in 2025, with new offices in Gaborone (Botswana), Monrovia (Liberia) and Lilongwe (Malawi). The strategic expansion underscored Hayo’s commitment to driving digital transformation, extending local capabilities and supporting hyperscaler demands across key hubs.

  • eSIM Platform Launch – We also launched our eSIM platform to enable mobile operators to boost roaming revenues and enhance digital experiences worldwide. The end-to-end solution can be white-labelled to help MNOs transition from legacy SIM infrastructure and unlock new eSIM opportunities in the travel and IoT sectors.

  • Strategic Team Growth – None of the above milestones would be possible without our incredible team. We hugely expanded in 2025 with strategic hires and new talent, as well as nurturing our existing team’s expertise and reinforcing a culture that embraces both innovation and execution. As we grow, we remain committed to developing an expert group of likeminded individuals with deep technical capability and a customer-first approach. It is a team defined by a growth mindset, where we are always asking, “what’s next?”

These milestones represent our ability to deliver at scale, innovate within complex ecosystems, and create real value for governments, enterprises and operators alike.

A Stronger & Smarter 2026

The year ahead is about turning momentum into measurable impact. We will focus on further enhancing our capabilities, scaling in target sectors, and delivering solutions that move the market forward.

  • Advancing Messaging, Identity & Network Services – We have developed robust strategies for messaging, network APIs and authentication services. These areas remain core to our business and present significant opportunities for growth. In 2026 we will further enhance these capabilities, supporting the integrity of mobile operators in global messaging ecosystems, while strengthening revenue resilience.

  •  Scaling GovTech – Government technology remains a key priority for Hayo, representing a huge opportunity for positive impact across communities. Solutions like our NMR platform help governments to modernise digital governance, enforce regulatory frameworks, and unlock new revenue that can be reinvested into public services. We are focused on building on the progress we made this year to help more governments regain control of their digital ecosystems.

  •  Strengthening Core Infrastructure – We will continue to invest in our core network, with technology platforms that deliver secure, compliant and scalable digital services. Whether through secure API infrastructures, authentication frameworks, or connectivity platforms like eSIM, we will equip more mobile operators and regulators with the tools they need to future-proof operations and deliver superior experiences to end users.

  •  Our People & Our Culture – 2025 was a huge year for our team. We brought new skills into the business, as well as fresh perspectives and stronger collaboration. In 2026, we will continue to invest in our people as a core driver of long-term success.

We have the skills, experience, expertise, and relationships to deliver on-the-ground innovation and bring our customers’ visions to life, no matter what markets they operate in.

The year ahead is about execution and scale. With a strong team, a clear strategy and growing market demand, Hayo is well positioned to deliver sustainable growth and long-term value across dynamic markets.
